He is survived by: his wife Betty Alderete; his brother Elí Alderete; his children, Wesley Alderete and Francine Dellinger (Greg); his grandchildren, Kasey Alderete (Joe Shermetaro) and Ethan Alderete (Reagan DeFlorio); and his great grandchildren, Ayla Shermetaro, Cato Shermetaro, Knox Alderete and Maeve Alderete.
