She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Polston and Alice Polston. She is survived by: her husband John R. "Bob" Martin; her children, Karen Martin Ford (Jerry) and Craig Martin (Celia); her grandsons, Jerrod Martin Ford and John Morgan Ford; her sister Jacqueline Polston Blakley Bob (Frank); and also, Ruth Brown (John) and May Brown (Randy). She is also survived by her cousins - "the Dixie Hens," and many nieces and nephews.

She raised her family in the Mid-Cities area where she passed into the arms of Jesus after a brief battle with Covid.
