It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Floyd Edward Lain of Bedford, Texas, born in Peaster, Texas, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Floyd Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ivy and Cora Lain; his wife Bobbie Jo; and his son-in-law Terry Ford. He is survived by: his children, Larry (Susan Lain), Rhonda (Robert Hurt), Debra Ford of Burleson and David (Debbie Lain). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
