He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm "William" Zellmer and Clara Gorgas Zellmer; and his brothers, Karl, Julius "Bud" and Chris Zellmer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Cagle Zellmer; his sons, David Zellmer (Cheryl) and Keith Zellmer (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Zachary Zellmer (Haley), Colton Zellmer, Collin Zellmer (Olivia) and Cassidy Zellmer (Azaya Patrick); and his great grandchildren, Carter Zellmer, Levi Zellmer and Holland Zellmer.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504).
