He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Ruth Tatum Aldridge and Earl Glenn Aldridge; and his brothers, Earl Aldridge and Gary Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Chance Aldridge; his sister Elaine Aldridge Head (Dennis Head); his children, Bryan Aldridge, Daniel Aldridge, Donald Ledingham, Denise Aldridge Crappell (David Crappell) and MacKenzie Curry Aldridge; and his stepchildren, Cherish Figueiredo Arnold, Chad Figueiredo and Cherilyn Figueiredo. He is also survived by Extended Family: Six grandchildren, two nephews, nine nieces; cousins.
