Byron Zirkle Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Byron Zirkle of Bedford, Texas, born in Petersburg, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Cindi, Cynthia Jean Gilmore (Chuck) and Byron Douglas Zirkle (Lisa); his grandchildren, Beth Mueller, Lyn Gilliam (Chris), Rachel Miller (Taylor), Laura Zirkle McGlynn (Ryan), Christopher Zirkle and Caroline Zirkle; his great grandchildren, Kyle McKinney, Avery, Bryce Mueller, Ethan, Caitlyn, Austin Gilliam, Daisy Claire Zirkle McGlynn and Jack Douglas Miller; his niece Marsha Jo Tinsley Weddle (Jack); and his cousin Mary Marshall Cooper.

Through the years Byron enjoyed photography, researching extensive family genealogy, and was on the Bedford Historical Foundation and the Tarrant County Historical Commission.
