He was predeceased by: his father Leslie Montgomery; his parents-in-law, Wendell T. and Mary Lou Siebert; his sister-in-law Becky Siebert; and his niece Becca Siebert.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Montgomery; his daughters, Von Aven (Jared), Julie Armstrong (Joseph) and Jill Montgomery; his grandchildren, Montgomery Aven, Les Aven, Palmer Armstrong and Harbin Armstrong; his mother Jennie Montgomery; his siblings, Richard Montgomery (Sheree), Doug Albrecht (Kim), Doyle Albrecht (Tammy), Susie Breitling (Mike) and Martha Huber (Max); and his brother-in-law Mike Siebert (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
