He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Glen Brasher, Sr. and Mary Edsel Pratt Brasher; his half-sister Gayla Breeland; and his niece Lindsay Brasher. He is survived by: his wife Sherian Brasher; his children, Sonya Brasher-Hathorn (Bryan) and Brandon Clay Brasher (Kelly); his brother William "Bill" Brasher (Deborah); his grandchildren, Tyler Killen (Mackenzie), Kaylee Madison Brasher, Clayton Kyle Brasher and Haden Hathorn; and his great grandchild River Hayes Killen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Military Honors Youngblood Cemetery (4803 FM 124, Beckville, TX 75631).
