He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Wright and Winnie Davis Henderson Wright; his former wife Donna Gale Wigley; his son Kenneth Wayne Wright; and his stepson Daniel Wayne Bobo.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wright; his children, Terry Lee Wright (Michelle) and Teri Dawson (Andy); his stepchildren, Peggy Cone, Kevin Johns (Chery), Robby Bobo, Ricky Johns (Shona) and Randy Johns (Angel); his siblings, Elaine Herring (Jerry), Debbie Vance (Joe Ed) and Dale Wright; and his grandchildren, Robin Beall, Amanda Sims, Candace Bynum, Samantha, Sydney, Parker, Savanah Johns, Lexie, Skylar Dawson, Brittany Mojica, Gunner Smith and Sawyer Johns. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other family and many friends.
