He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Stell Harris and Bill Harris. He is survived by: his wife Sally Metcalf Dawson of Beckville; his daughter Gina Leigh Dawson Marquet (Tom) of Philadelphia; his grandson Homer James Marquet; and his brothers, Tom Dawson (Susan) of Carrolton and Jerry Harris (Melanie) of Carrolton. He is also survived by in laws, cousin, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Beckville United Methodist Church.
