It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Cassady (Beckville, Texas), born in Lena, Louisiana, who passed away on September 28, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mallie M. Guin and Gladys Arnold Guin; and her siblings, Bonnie Ruth Rester, Barbara Babcock (Joe) of Tullos, LA, William "John" Guin (Barbara) of Colfax, LA, Milo Guin (Deborah) of Xenia, OH, Steve Guin (Wanda) of Tullos, LA and Nathan Guin (Angel) of Newellton, LA..
She is survived by: her friend James Marvin Cassady; and her husband James Marvin "Hoppy" Cassady of Beckville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The family suggests memorial donations be made in Mrs. Cassady's name to Hospice Plus, 414 East Loop 281, Suite 5, Longview, Texas 75605 or to the Sanctuary of Pentecost in Carthage.
