He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie and Alva Charles Nix, Sr.; his spouse Tommie Nell Nix; his children, Chuck Nix (Kim Marckini) of Longview, Monica (Russ Perry) and Lori (Aaron Mills); his grandchildren, Aarica, Chris Mims, Whitney, Brian Reed, Jordan Nix, Dustin Briggs, Tanner Nix, Rylee and Brock Mills; his great grandchildren, Carson Nix, Callan Reed, Sumner Mims, Sanders Mims and Ember Reed; his siblings, Ima Wikoff (Melvin), Betty Curbow (Raymond), Janice Morris, Brenda Harris (Jackie) and Jimmy Nix; and his sister-in-law Margie Carter. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
