She was predeceased by: her husband Norris Trahan of Mermentau; her parents, Whitney Hebert and Legena Cormier Hebert; and her brother Larris Hebert. She is survived by: her daughters, Arlene Vincent (Jeffrey), Angie Trahan and Karen Haynes (Mark) of Beaumont, Texas; her grandchildren, Wade Vincent (Jennifer) of Fannett, Brandon Vincent (Vicky) of Beaumont, Tyler Haynes of Beaumont, Mallory Rugg (John) of Beaumont, Christopher Spark of Lumberton and Christy Spark of Spring, Texas; her great grandchildren, Nathan Vincent, Jason Vincent, Natalie Vincent and Jessie Martin; and her siblings, Lovess Hebert of Lafayette, Louisiana and Adule Vincent of Lake Arthur, Louisiana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. A prayer was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home (1155 N 11th St, Beaumont, TX 77702). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (203 Commercial Ave, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
Vergine was a hard worker all her life but finally succumbed to the debilitating disease of Parkinson's.
