He is survived by: his wife Anita Williams; his brother Joe Lester (Brenda); his sister-in-law Sallie; his sisters, Barbara Bailey (Leroy) and Ruby Marie Woodard; his daughter Nichole Leschelle Penelton (Derrick); and his grandson Derrick Gordon Penelton II. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and fraternal brothers.
