He was predeceased by: his parents, Rena Wallace and Floyd Maples; his brothers, Charles "Chuck" Maples and Jerry Maples; and his grandson Andrew Campbell, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Sherry" Maples; his children, Rita Marie DeVilleneuve, Rodger Ray Maples, Jr. (Carrie), Floyd Maples (Cheri) and Shannon Maples; his sister Cynthia Addison; and his cousin Beth Sykora. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
