Maudie Hawkes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 95, Maudie Hawkes (Beaumont, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Maudie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Maudie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Shelby Sanders and Carrie Eddie Sanders (Moore); her husband Charles William Hawkes; her sons, Gary (Marcia) and Marshall (Barbara); and her daughter-in-law Sandra. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home (1155 N 11th St, Beaumont, TX 77702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
