He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Alexander Smith and Bobby Duke Smith; his brother Robert Thomas Smith; and his grandsons, James Smith and Graham Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Smith; his children, Amanda Smith of Houston, Zachary Smith (Lauren) of Midland and Allison Proffitt (Harrison) of Houston; his grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Annemarie Smith, Eloise Smith and Harry Proffitt; his brother Charles Smith (Richard Morgan); and his father-in-law James Lytle. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77713). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Broussard's (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77713).
