He was predeceased by: his wife Earnestine Boutte; and his grandson Johnathan Boutte. He is survived by: his children, Joseph W. Boutte, Jr. (Sharon), Gregory Boutte (Kay Kay), Cynthia Thibodeaux (Michael) and Darrell Boutte (Dykie); and his grandchildren, Joseph W. Boutte, III, Marquita Boutte, Courtney Thibodeaux, Anthony Boutte, Parys Boutte, Tayla Thibodeaux and Matthew Boutte.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church (3390 Sarah St, Beaumont, TX 77701). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Live Oak Memorial Park (12563 W Port Arthur Rd, Beaumont, TX 77705).
