It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Mayo (Beaumont, Texas), born in Vidor, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Nettle and Floyd Mayo; and his son Ryan Allen Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Martin Mayo; his son Ross Davis Mayo of Round Rock; his stepdaughter Dianna Johnson (Billy Johnson) of Cedar Park, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Cole William, Avery Claire Johnson, Isabel Marie Mayo, James Davis Mayo and Jackson William Mayo.
