He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sarah L. Jackson; his daughters, Myra Jackson-Jones, Gail Jackson-Chretien, Mary Jackson-Zeno, Tari Jackson-Broussard and Barbara Jackson-Marshall (Alexce); his stepchildren, Herman Fontenot (Denise), Willie Taylor (Wanda), Gloria Taylor-Zachery, Dwayne Taylor (Donna), Helen Taylor and Donald Taylor; his sister Betty Miles (Calvin); and his godson Clayton Haynes (Hazel).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Starlight Missionary Baptist Church (1090 Buford St, Beaumont, TX 77701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Live Oak Memorial Park (12563 W Port Arthur Rd, Beaumont, TX 77705).
