He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Lee Burns Wright and Benjamin Walter Wright; and his siblings, Doug Wright, Bill Wright, Robert "Shorty" Wright, Earl Wright and Mozelle Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wright; his children, Mel Wright (Neysa), Erin Madigan and Whitney Black (Stacy); his grandchild Ashley Norman (Andrew); his children, Jonathan Wright (Andie), Reeves Madigan, Caden Madigan, Lauren Black and Jackson Black; his great grandchildren, Henry Norman, Grant Norman, Lucy Wright and Annie Wright; his sisters-in-law, Pat Wright and Jane Wright; his nephew Harold Alvarez (Judy); his niece Kathy Gobert (Kenny); and also, Tessa, Cynthia, Carolyn, Shirl and Marilyn.
