He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Nowlin Hooper Rhodes and George Wright Rhodes; and his sisters, Myrtis Fletcher and Sally Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Underhill (Mark), George Webb Rhodes and Joe Rhodes (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Robert Underhill (Elissa), Allison Underhill, Michael Underhill, Alex Rhodes and Victoria Rhodes; and his sister Jenny Hamilton (L. H.). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
