She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Laurentz and Dorothy Laurentz; her husband Ivy Cormier; her son John Eric; her grandson Reagan Adaway; and her brother Gaylord Laurentz (Sandy).
She is survived by: her son Kevin Adaway; her grandchildren, Shannon Adaway, Joseph Adaway and Joshua Adaway; her sister Jimmie Sullivan; and her close friend Judy Ayres. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Horizon Church (880 W Cardinal Dr, Beaumont, TX 77705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
