We bid farewell to Frank August Higgins of Beaumont, Texas, born in Riverside, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Frank August touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Victoria Segelquist and Cameron Austin Higgins; and his siblings, LaRue Higgins, Stanley Higgins, Ernestine Collins, Johnny Higgins and Bill Higgins.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Lee Higgins; his sons, Richard Lee Higgins, Sr. of Austin, Jerrol Frank Higgins (Tammy) of Graham and Allan Haley Higgins (Lori) of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Lee Higgins, Michael Higgins (Natalie), Brittany Higgins, Connor Higgins, Candice Winslow (Caleb), Haley Richardson (Austin) and Clara Cowart (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Hayden, Evie, Mason, Walker, Cameron, Autumn, Thomas, Peyton and Paisley; and his siblings, Harry Higgins (Glenda), JoAnn Turner and Michael Higgins (Jackie).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (200 W Prairie Ave, Eagle Lake, TX 77434). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Lakeside Cemetery.
