He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis John Choate and Roberta Choate (Benard); and his brother Kim Choate. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Choate; and his siblings, Danny Choate (Ginger) of Denton, Kathy Haynes (Michael) of Nederland, Krista Jones of Beaumont and Tammy Puckett (Roger) of Spring. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
