She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Janette Nourse and John Joseph Marlin; her former husband Samuel S. Lord, Jr. of Beaumont; her sister Betty Marlin Gates (late Ralph) of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts; and her sons, Steven Arthur Lord (late Cheryl) of Batavia, Ohio, Jonathan Peter Lord (Diane) of Louisville, Kentucky and Nathaniel Edward Lord (Sacha) of Claremont, California..
She is survived by: her husband Londonderry; her friend Evelyn; her caregivers, Linda, Jana, Kaitlin and Shirley; her friends, Beverly Barnes and Katherine Leister; her children, Victoria Lord Murphy (David) of Tyler and William Kenneth Lord (Angela) of Longview; and her brother Paul Richard Marlin (Virginia) of Reading, Massachusetts. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (1350 N 23rd St, Beaumont, TX 77706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
