She was predeceased by: her husband Walter O. Sanders; and her grandson Brandon Lopez. She is survived by: her children, Michael Anthony Sanchez, Melissa Lopez and Mandy L. Rhodes; her siblings, Frank Escamilla, Jr., Isidro Escamilla, Ronnie Escamilla, Becky Flores and Stella Escamilla Moya; her granddaughter Jessica Tomplait; and her great grandchildren, Julian Jones, Noah Tomplait, Serena Tomplait and James Tomplait.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
