He was predeceased by: his parents, Nassie J. Champagne and Mary Louise Champagne; his in-laws, Quincy and Rudy Janssens; his siblings, John Champagne and Alice Faye Gonzalez; and his grandson Zachary Christopher Green.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Champagne; his children, Chris Champagne, Matt Champagne and Celena Champagne Green; and his grandchildren, Quincy Green and Cate Green. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melancon's Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
