He was predeceased by: his parents, Fronia Kenebrew and Jerry Kenebrew; his daughter Ruby Pinkston Kenebrew; and his brothers, EJ Kenebrew, PJ Kenebrew and CJ Kenebrew.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Kenebrew; his children, Charles Kenebrew Jr. (Carolyn), Leslie Kenebrew (Perry), Elisa Kenebrew (Clarence), Shundria Kenebrew, Avius Kenebrew, Emori Kenebrew, Lois Marks and Jacquan Marks; his stepdaughter Cherry Gardiner; his siblings, RJ Kenebrew (Katherine) and Aleane Gaston; and his godchildren, Keyosha Fisher, Helen Fisher, Shantayvia Fisher and Elizabeth Burns (Lisa Curtis). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren.
