We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 82, Catherine Rebecca Collier-Mazzu of Beaumont, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Catherine Rebecca's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Catherine Rebecca has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. A. Collier and Agatha Collier; her husband Jake Mazzu Jr.; and her siblings, Sonny Collier and Margaret Collier.
She is survived by: her son Jake Joseph Mazzu III. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews & great- great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Family and Friends Broussard's Mortuary (2000 Mcfaddin Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Rosary Broussard's Mortuary (2000 Mcfaddin Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (2000 Mcfaddin Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (2291 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
