She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bessie Mae Butler and Louis Merrick, Jr.; her children, Bessie Wise Coleman (Gary), Bridget Wise Jones (Derrick), Brandy Wise Ceasar (Earnest, Jr.) and Bobby Wise (Undrea); and her siblings, Louis Merrick, III (Toni), Linda Cullivan and Shelia Mayzes (Roger, Jr). She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. and a host of family and friends.
