With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Joy Boone Kegley of Beasley, Texas, born in Needville, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Boone and Emilie Kasmir Boone; her parents-in-law, James and Ida Kegley; and her brothers-in-law, Milton Poehls, Harold Hamilton, Floyd Davenport and Robert Whitson.
She is survived by: her friends, Becky Redmond and Betty Coatney; her husband Sem Edward Kegley of Beasley, Texas; her children, Zane Kegley (Viola Martinez) of Richmond, Texas and Kelley Drabek (Robert) of Needville, Texas; her grandson Joshua Drabek (Kayla) of Needville, Tecas; her great grandchild Cheyenne Joy Drabek; her sister Barbara Ann Poehls of Beasley, Texas; her nephew Mark Poehls (Stephanie); her great-nieces, Shelby Poehls and Abigail Poehls; her great-nephew Aaron Poehls; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Whitson and Esther Sonnier (Woodrow). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
