With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yanda Stevens of Baytown, Texas, born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Allison and Madeline Stevens August; and her brother Daniel Slaughter. She is survived by: her children, LaShonda Narcisse (Wille), Latasha Markham (Robert "Pete"), Albert Stevens (Janne) and Kevin Newberry; her siblings, Linda Stevens Sam, Manuel August and Loston Slaughter; her aunt Lou Ann Stevens; and her grandchildren, Tre, Von Warren, Devonte Warren, Pryncess Narcisse, Landon Meuchel, Sasha Meuchel, Christina Angel and Isaac Stevens. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
