It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William R. Carpenter of Baytown, Texas, born in Pittsburg, Texas, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Carpenter and Eunice Carpenter; and his aunt Kathryn Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Lisa Carpenter Wheeler; his son-in-law Clay Wheeler; his grandson Jack Wheeler; and his brother-in-law Chester Stasney. He is also survived by many cousins and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memoriam donations to the Baytown Public Library.
