He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. McVay and Lillie McVay; his wife Nelda McVay; his son Kenneth McVay; and his siblings, Mozelle Cox, Laverne "Oddis" Scott, Lois Allen and Aubrey McVay.
He is survived by: his son Randy McVay (Juanita); his daughter-in-law Robin Creed McVay; his grandson Philip Blue (Kate); and his great grandchildren, Harper, Beckham and Blakely Blue. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and family.
