She is survived by: her husband Milton Lee Hackfeld; her children, Judy McLendon (Duane), Lynda Williams (Randy) and Curtis Hackfeld (Lori); her grandchildren, Kelley Maze (Robert), Patrick McLendon (Julie), Kristyn Carpenter (Chad), Jared Williams (Joy), Colton Hackfeld and Jessica Hackfeld; her great grandchildren, Jacob Maze, Emalee Maze, William McLendon, Scott McLendon, W. Luke Carpenter, Ty Carpenter and Valerie Williams; and her sister Elizabeth Ann Phillips of Ooltewah, TN. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Virginia's memory to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 712 Schilling Ave, Baytown, TX 77520.
