It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Deakle (Baytown, Texas), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on July 17, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Patrick Deakle, Sr.; her parents, Bessie Kelly Duncan and Benjamin Neal Duncan, Sr.; her sisters, Sheila Jones and Teresa Duncan; and her niece Michelle Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Patrick Deakle, Jr., Suzette Sims, Jakie Sims, Angela Brewer, Michael Deakle and Shelley Deakle; her siblings, Benjamin Duncan, Jr., Grace Brewer, Ellen Smith, Don Smith and Geraldine Leggett; her grandchildren, Jakie, Jr., Karen Sims, Stephanie Leger, Brandon Leger, Suzanne Sims, Kayleigh Deakle and Caden Deakle; and her great grandchildren, Bryce Leger, Ethan Leger, Caden Waskow, Chloe Sims and Royce Preston.
