He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosendo Leal and Severa Leal; and his siblings, Juanita Garcia, Maria Luisa Puente and Jesus M. Leal.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda R. Leal; his children, Yolanda Flores (Phillip), Jesse Leal (Dedra) and Sonia Ramirez (Oscar); his sister Margarita Perez; his grandchildren, Jessica Mora (Paul), Yvonne Davila (Justin), Miguel Flores, Jesse Leal (Alicia), Rosendo Leal, Alex Leal, Oscar Ramirez, David Ramirez and Sofia Ramirez; and his great grandchildren, Micaela, Christopher Mora, Jesse and Leo Leal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
