He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ummel and Willa Ummel; his grandparents, John Mealiff, Ruth Mealiff, Carl Ummel and Sarah Ummel; and his friend Jerry Birky.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill, Hali and Tiffany; his wife Susie Ummel; his sons-in-law, Jill Huckaby, Dwayne Huckaby, Hali Hollister, Buck Hollister, Tiffany Gammel and Bill Gammel; his grandchildren, Maddy Huckaby, Abby Huckaby, Cliff Gammel and John Gammel; and his sister Joy Birky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended loved ones, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church building fund.
