He is survived by: his grandsons, Ben Jr. and Robert Jessick; his wife Valerie Williamson Markham; his children, Robert "Pete" Markham (Latasha), Benjamin Markham (Enedina) and Jessica Purlin (Ashley); his sisters, Betty Jo Stocks (Jay) and Theresa Terry (Coles); his sisters-in-law, Vicki Meadors, Vanessa Agee, Cindy Williamson and Penny O'Brian; and his grandchildren, Sasha, Landon, Benjamin, Levi, Valerie, Samson, Emily, Paisley, Gavin and Jessick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
