We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 90, Robert Oviedo Martinez of Baytown, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcos Martinez and Reyes Oviedo; his siblings, Antonio, Geronimo, Gilberto, Julio, Ana Maria, Maria Ofelia, Joe and Carmen; and his great grandchild Romey Miah Salinas.

He is survived by: his wife Margie Maldonado Martinez; and his children, Gloria Steinhauer (Michael), Mary Louisa Ybarra (Don), Maggie Halleck (Mark), Robert J. Martinez (Linda), Linda Magdaleno (Albert), Ramon Martinez (Marta Julia) and Lupe Martinez. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
