He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Skelton and Ruth Skelton; his wife Faye L. Skelton; and his siblings, Helen Reasor, Johnny R. Skelton and Wilbert Leon Skelton.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Skelton Turnbull, Robert Jr. (Linda Skelton), Michael (Christi Skelton) and Kenneth (Vicki Skelton); and his grandchildren, Christopher L. Skelton, Jonathan W. Turnbull, Acie R. Turnbull, Robert J. Skelton, Melissa L. Skelton, Chad Skelton and Chelsey Skelton.
