He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thain and Laura Thain. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Thain of Baytown; his children, Rex, Jr. (Sherry Thain), William (Buster), Debbie Thain of Baytown, Texas and Donald (Nancy Thain); and his sister Dorothy Foster of Baytown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren.
