He is survived by: his children, Reggie Abraham, Reginald Lewis, Jr., Jamar, Joshua Lagarde and Onnea Lagarde; his siblings, Emmett, Joseph, Jerry Lewis, Gwendolyn, Marilyn and Cassandra Lewis; his close friend Ola Abraham; and his aunts and uncles, Earl, Willie Lewis, Moses Celestin (Gertrude), Alta Lee Celestin and Dorothy Mae Harding. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
