She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Henderson and Virginia Boyett; her husband Leonard K. Carter; her sister Patricia Boyett; her son-in-law Bill Jarboe; and her grandson Matthew Salias.
She is survived by: her children, Randy L. Carter (Josefina) and Tracie L. Jarboe; her brother Michael Boyett (Virginia); her grandchildren, Anthony Webb, Larry Henry, William Jarboe, Douglas Lee, Daniela Olivares and Gabriela Diaz; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Madison, Brooklyn, Hali, Jolynn and McKenzie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter Conley Funeral Home (13701 Corpus Christi St, Houston, TX 77015). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the San Jacinto Memorial Park (14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015).
