She was predeceased by: her parents, William V. and Orvilla Royer; her daughter Judith Elaine Pourteau Banning; and her siblings, Willie V. Royer, Joyce McInnis and Billie Ferguson.

She is survived by: her son James Pourteau (Linda Baker) of Sulphur; her son-in-law Russell Banning; her grandchildren, Glenn Pourteau (Julie) of Santa Fe, TX, Terri Pourteau of Houston, Chris Pourteau of Baytown, TX, Beth Davidson of Austin, TX and Ross Davidson (Alyssa) of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Robert Pourteau, Gabriel Pourteau, Victoria Pourteau and Joshua Pourteau; and her great great grandchild David Alan Pourteau.
