She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Istre and Alma Arceneaux Istre; her husband Leroy Joseph Cashat; her son Gene Cashat; and her siblings, Chester Istre, Morris Istre and Beatrice Istre.
She is survived by: her sons, Boyce Lee Cashat (Sharon Elizabeth) and Richard John Cashat (Diane); her daughter-in-law Melanie Cashat; her sisters, Juanita Wooten and Eunice Slaughter; and her sister-in-law Dot Istre. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Loyce was dedicated to giving back, exemplified by her monthly contributions to St. Jude's Hospital.
