She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Rice; her grandmother Lee Williams; her parent Oscar B. Laird; and her sister Brenda Saunders. She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Rice (Rhonda) and Greg Rice (Patty); her grandchildren, Camryn Rice (Caleb Barbee), Joshua Rice, Matthew Rice and Lori Starkey (Frank); her great grandchildren, Kennedy Jeffery and Guy Jeffery; her sisters, Virginia Downing, Alice Bounds (Bobby) and Janice Trousdale; and her nieces and nephews, Regina Green (Jimmy), Crystal Davis (Guy), Robby Bounds, Adrian, Steven Saunders (Christina), David Downing, Charlotte Trousdale, Michelle Trousdale and Mike Trousdale (Casey).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Navarre Funeral Home Chapel (2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, TX 77521). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
