She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Strode and Carol Jean Barker Strode. She is survived by: her husband Preston Barker of Baytown; her children, Thomas Roy of Washington, Doris Matlock (Ronald) of Commerce, Salina Hisler (Robert) of Anahuac, John Barker (Kerry) of Daisetta, Melissa Thramer (Phillip) of Oklahoma and Lois Thomas (Roy) of Anahuac, Texas; her siblings, Billy Strode, William Strode, James Strode (Viola), Darlene Walker and Eula Touchet; her niece Gladys Touchet; and her pet Rosey. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren and her numerous great-grandchildren.
