He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Hyltin and Thelma Hyltin; and his son Roger Brent Hyltin. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Parker Hyltin; and his children, Lorie Lee Trenery (Steven) and Carl Parker Hyltin (Barbara). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that any contributions be made to the Cedar Bayou Grace Methodist Church.
